Automatic Inspection

Xepics Fully Automated Visual Inspection pieces of equipment incorporate an automated handling of the containers with electronic sensing of the container features and of the product aspects.

The reference equipment reject automatically the containers that are not consistent with the requirement specifications.

The inspection process focuses to foreign contaminants, fill level, container closure and cosmetic defects.

In case of liquid products, prior to inspection, the containers are quickly spun on their vertical axis to set particles in motion and make them easier to detect. If lyophilized products are inspected, the reference containers are rotated slowly behind the dedicated camera(s).

We use multiple cameras to perform the inspection on the different regions of the container; the cameras are synchronized with illumination systems to highlight specific defects in the Region Of Interest that have been set.
